Must eat and drink: Voodoo Doughnut and Stumptown Coffee. Not only do they go beautifully together, but they are just a block or so apart over on SW 3rd Ave.

I agree with Katie I really need to go to Voodoo Doughnut after seeing on a travel show recently! One bit of advice I have is there is no sales tax so leave room in your luggage so you can do some early holiday shopping or for up coming friend’s Birthdays (hint).

Stuart’s comment jogged my memory about something: if you’re staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel, it looks like they have a handfull of courtesy bicycles available for guests. I found a picture of said bikes on their website.

Let it be known that I’ve got dibs on one of those Crowne Plaza bikes. I’m even thinking of packing a u-lock in my luggage for it, though I’m not sure how airport security will feel about that…
